Building Regulations for Replacement of Windows and Doors.
Replacing windows and doors needs to meet certain standards in the Building Regulations to reduce energy loss. It is the responsibility of the Customer to comply with the Building Regulations when having replacement windows, doors, or rooflights installed in both domestic and non-domestic buildings.
We are not registered to self-certify any installation; however, we are able to arrange this service for you through a third party. Alternatively, approval can be gained through your Local Authority. They will check the replacement window(s) or door(s) for compliance and, if satisfied, issue a certificate of compliance. This cannot be provided in retrospect of installation.
